Desktop opinion of value

A desktop opinion of value is an expression of value that is stronger than a supposition, but more theoretical than a full summary appraisal. The opinion is concluded without benefit of a physical inspection, and certain other criteria requisite to an appraisal. Its purpose is to provide a reasonable sense of value only, with the accuracy of this value being determined by the quality of the information provided by the client.

Full Summary appraisal

A full summary appraisal includes a physical inspection of the subject assets. This is an integral part in the appraisal process, as it verifies the existence and condition of the assets. We compile, create, and provide a full asset list of observed property. This type of appraisal satisfies the needs of lenders and large institutions.

Standards of Value

Depending on the purpose of an appraisal, the standard of value can vary. Our expertise in producing opinions of value include:

  1. Various forms of Fair Market Value (“FMV”)

  2. Fair Value (“FV”)

  3. Orderly and Forced Liquidation (“OLV” and “FLV”)
